SHHS is excited to announce the opening of our new Wellness Center.  This room is to be used as a designated space for students & faculty to have a 15-20 minute break in order to "Rest & Return".  The Wellness Center is a great place for students to use art therapy, meditate in front of the fireplace, or use any of the meditation & wellness tools found in the room.  Students using the Wellness Center will be asked to leave their friends at the door and keep their phones in their bags.

We are so very grateful to Mr. Peery for helping us fund this room through a wellness grant given to the district for such purposes.  We have also had many generous families & members throughout the community donate art supplies, decor & many other tools to be used by students in order to help them reset & return to class when able.

We are excited to see this room in action & have the chance to help students in need!

Please note that after school detention on Tuesday, Thursday & Friday has been moved to room D203.  Corom's Corner will still be held in room D104 on Wednesdays.

Students! We need your help supporting our SHHS Lashays! We will be hosting the region drill competition here on our home court (SHHS gym) on Thursday January 20th @ 6:00pm!!

Just as a reminder - NO tickets will be sold at the door.  Also, to sweeten the deal even more - students may bring their ticket receipt to the attendance office after the event to earn detention time! Let's get the largest and LOUDEST student section in the region to support our girls!

January 7 SHHS Skyhawks Happenings Newsletter 

We are excited to host Region Drill here at SHHS on Thursday January 20th!  Ticketing will be limited and will be available online only. NO TICKETS will be sold at the door the night of the event.  Each school will be given parent/family & fan/student codes to purchase tickets in advance.  These codes will be specific to each school & will be given to the AD & drill coach to distribute.  If you would like to purchase tickets please contact your HOME school for code information.  Tickets will be available through this link: https://shskyhawksathletics.com/event-tickets

Monday January 10th is Monday Makeup Day!! Use this opportunity to visit with your teachers & lock in those good grades before the end of the term.

To sweeten the deal we will also be offering DOUBLE DETENTION this day! Be sure to pick up a teacher signature sheet from the main office before you begin to visit with your teachers.  Collect signatures and gain 15 minutes of detention for every teacher you work with!
