SHHS is excited to announce the opening of our new Wellness Center. This room is to be used as a designated space for students & faculty to have a 15-20 minute break in order to "Rest & Return". The Wellness Center is a great place for students to use art therapy, meditate in front of the fireplace, or use any of the meditation & wellness tools found in the room. Students using the Wellness Center will be asked to leave their friends at the door and keep their phones in their bags.
We are so very grateful to Mr. Peery for helping us fund this room through a wellness grant given to the district for such purposes. We have also had many generous families & members throughout the community donate art supplies, decor & many other tools to be used by students in order to help them reset & return to class when able.
We are excited to see this room in action & have the chance to help students in need!
