The work-based learning internships opportunities provides students with a jump start on their future career. Students can work in the industry related to a field of their choice simply by signing up for a work based learning CTE internship and taking a related CTE class.
Intern Requirements
Junior or Senior
No F’s allowed on current grades
Good school attendance
Have taken or are currently enrolled in a Career and Technical Education CTE elective related class 9th-12th grade CTE classes accepted.
Students must have access to a car or other transportation to and from the internship workplace.
Ms. Turnbow will be your Canvas teacher and grade your LinkedIn profile. Interns meet in the library computer lab or C-100 every other week. The online course, workplace skills, is a required component of the internship and must be completed in order for the student to receive credit.
Mrs. Chris Thomas the Nebo School District Internship Coordinator will review your application and attendance prior to placing you. She is out of her office visiting internship sites often, so please Email Mrs. Chris Thomas or text her.
