This week in Counseling: October 3 - October 7

UCAW Week! (Utah College Application Week) Counselors and college representatives will be in your Senior English classes on Monday and Tuesday to help you fill out college applications. Be aware of each college deadline so you don’t miss out on scholarships!

Oct. 1st -FAFSA (free application for federal student aid) application opens.

Oct. 6th from 3:30-7:00 - FAFSA night at SHHS. Come and get help filling out the FAFSA. Don’t forget to bring all items needed to complete your FAFSA. Items needed are listed in the senior UCAW packet. 

Oct 6th from 4:00-7:00 - Beyond High School Night (see attached flyer)

Oct 10th from 6:00 to 7:00 - Engineering & Mechatronics Night at the ALC (see attached flyer)

Oct 28th - USU Eastern Technical Education Day - Field Trip (see attached flyer) Sign up in the counseling office today!

Term 1 Monday Makeup is coming up on October 3rd!

Use this opportunity to work with your teachers regarding your term 1 grades.  Students also have the opportunity to earn detention credit during this time!  Earn 15 minutes for each signature, OR have your teacher log the amount of time spent working with them in their room (if your time exceeds the 15 minutes).

Term 1 ends on October 12th!

September 29th - Senior Assembly during the last 20 minutes of 2nd period. Seniors will receive important information regarding college applications, scholarships and FAFSA

Next week - UCAW Week! The Presidential Scholarship at Snow and SUU have limited funds so apply now.

Oct 6 - FAFSA Night and Beyond High School Night from 4:00pm-7:00pm (see attached flyer)

October 4th, 2022 is our Dance Company Fundraiser Night with Café Zupas! We’ll be earning up to 25% back at the Spanish Fork Location from 4pm-9pm. Simply mention us (Salem Hills Dance Company) for it to count towards our goal. Don't have time to wait in line? This fundraiser will help pay for fees and provide costumes for our team to use at performances and festivals.
