Aislynn Blanchard - Band
Aislynn joined us for her first time this season and brought with her an infectious, joyful energy. Her enthusiasm has spread to her peers, inspiring them to put even more into their performances. We are proud to have Aislynn on the team and look forward to seeing her energy continue to shine throughout the rest of the season and her time in the Salem Hills Band Program!
Brynn Bailey - Volleyball
Brynn is such an important part of our team in so many ways. She's a leader on and off the court, is always positive, and is a huge part of our success in games. She's also so tough! Brynn is awesome!
Cole Banford - Unified Soccer
Cole has really stepped up as a leader for the Unified Soccer team. He keeps the energy high and makes sure everyone feels included, no matter their skill level. During practices and games, he's always cheering his teammates on and sharing tips, which helps everyone improve. Cole's friendly vibe brings the team together, making soccer fun for everyone involved.

The SHHS Performer of the Week for October 7-11 is Josiah Gardner, representing Choir.
Josiah was nominated by Mr. Bills, who said,
Josiah Gardner has been a invaluable part of our choir program over the past two years, and since earning a spot in Singers last year. He's a natural leader and always cracks everyone up, making rehearsals super fun. Josiah's awesome talent and vibe have brought us all closer and made our performances even better.

Congrats to our Girls tennis team. They have had a successful season and have had multiple girls represent well at State. Among those are Halle Ludwig, Halle Bladen, Jocie Neira, Leah Bryce, Addison Schwendiman, Mackenzee Nicholls and Kate Barton. The team took 7th place overall. Individually, Kate Barton took 3rd place overall. Well done girls.

You are invited to the UVU Business School Invitational on Oct. 11th. Competitions range from marketing and sales presentations to elevator pitches and artwork designs. You could win a $2,000 scholarship if you win! You get to miss school and get a free lunch. Talk with any business teacher in the C-hall if you want to attend.

The Salem Hills High School Choirs proudly present our Fall Choir Showcase, "Dreaming Wide Awake: Songs of Night and Wonder" on Wednesday, October 9th at 7:30pm. The concert will feature performances by all five Salem Hills Choirs singing selections that feature music that celebrates the power and mystery of the night. The concert is free and seating is open and first-come-first serve. We invite you to join us for this special evening and support the hard work and passion of our incredible choirs.
