The SHHS Performer of the Week for December 4-8 is Sam Hansen, representing Ballroom Dance.
Sam was nominated by Coach Lexie Gordon, who said,
Sam is a first year member to the ballroom team. We are so glad he chose to make the ballroom team a part of his Junior year as he has excelled and improved in these last short months. He is always taking corrections respectfully, asking question and 100% engaged in learning the world of ballroom. His dedication shows in his dancing but also in his attitude towards his teammates and coach. We love having him and are excited to watch his hard work continue to grow into a skilled ballroom lead dancer!
Congratulations to Sam! And thank you Soda Retreat for sponsoring this award!

There’s a new Saidie Hawkins dance this year! You are still wearing matching shirts but we are putting a fresh new twist on everything else from the name to who typically asks. It is now the Blizzard Bop and the theme is Rockin’ Around. It will take place in the cafeteria on December 9th at 8pm. See poster for more details.
