Dancing with the Hawks

Join us for a night of fun, good music, laughter & amazing dancing on Tuesday December 14th.

Our ballroom team has partnered up with some of our incredible Skyhawk athletes to put on a wonderful show for you!

Special Guests: Isaac Webster, William Hansbrow, Erica Murdock, Hyrum Goble, Dot Thomas, Bryanna Hofheins, Alydia Haskell, Benjamin Meldrum, Brayden Johnson, Ben Wheeler, and Jason Flinders.

Dancing with the Hawks will be similar to the popular TV show, Dancing with the Stars - but with our very own students!

Tickets are $5 per person at the door. We hope to see you there!

There is a club council meeting in the auditorium during lunch TODAY!!

I'm happy to nominate Allyson Beardall. She is a senior who is diligent and very capable. She comes to class regularly and participates in writing exercises and takes notes and gives me all the good student vibes.

Performer of the Week April 22-26

Organization: Performing Arts

The SHHS Performer of the Week for April 22-26 is Logan Reynaud, representing Orchestra.

Logan was nominated by Mr. Wells, who said,

Logan has been our Chamber Concertmaster this season, and he never shies away from a challenge, seeking to expand his musicianship. He picked up the viola this year and tackled some very difficult pieces for Solo & Ensemble. He participates in the Nebo Youth Orchestra and even joined with the band as a tuba player. He's a good example to others in the orchestra, practices hard, and is an asset to the program.

Math Scholar

Organization: Math-Amber Capell

Luke Henry deserves Math Scholar of the Week because he is always engaged, focused, and striving to find better ways to think mathematically. Luke enjoys sharing his problem-solving strategies with his group and with the class, and listens to others' ideas to deepen his own mathematical knowledge. He is always excited to come to class, and his enthusiasm for learning spreads throughout the classroom.
