Skyhawk Day Color Contest

On Friday March 3rd, we will be celebrating SKYHAWK Day as a school! We will celebrate with a spirit bowl, extended lunch and DONUTS for all!

What is Skyhawk Day?

Salem Hills girls and boys basketball teams won state championships on the same date at UVU. The boys team beat Juan Diego High School. The girls team beat Hurricane High School. Only eight schools in the state have won both boys and girls basketball championships in the same year since 1993. What sets Salem Hills apart from those other eight high schools is that our girls and boys won their state championships on the same date at the same location. Skyhawks were first to do so in UHSAA history.

Thus, the Utah County Commissioner designated March 3, 2018 as Salem Hills Skyhawks Day for such a momentous event. Girls and Boys Basketball programs from the same high school, from Utah County, in Utah County at UVU.

Please join us in celebrating by showing your Skyhawk pride!

Nebo Schools Open on Regular Schedule Thursday, February 23, 2023

Yes We're Open!

All Nebo schools will be open on the regular schedule for Thursday, February 23, 2023. We truly appreciate the city, county, state, and district personnel for their diligent work in our recent storm across our district. Please remember that school closures are rare. In most cases, school will remain in session even with Utah's climate. Because weather conditions may vary greatly in different neighborhoods and on different streets, we encourage parents to make attendance decisions for their own students.

Unfortunately, experience has taught us that there is no single decision that will accommodate the desires of every patron and employee. That being the case, Nebo District is supportive of individual decisions regarding safe travel during inclement weather. Please evaluate your individual situation regarding travel to school. The option to keep children home when weather conditions are severe is always at the parents’ discretion and schools have been asked to respect and honor parent decisions. Make-up schoolwork may be necessary, but schools will accommodate students on the timely completion of required assignments or tests.

To see more details on inclement weather, go to https://www.nebo.edu/schools/status.

Congratulations! We are so proud of you for being a Nebo Hero!
