How may we help your athlete in Salem Hills Athletics?

The order of people to talk to is listed to the right*. Start with step one and move down the list as needed. Move to the next step only if the previous step did not resolve the situation. Please do not skip a step, unless it is an emergency. For example, if a parent calls the principal before speaking to the athletic director, the parent will be referred back to the athletic director**. The steps are as follows:

*All contact information for the above people can be found on the SHHS Athletics website.

**If you believe that a criminal or hazing incident has occurred, please go straight to step 4 or 5.

Subway Athletes of the Week

April 15-20

Jackson Quists

boys lacrosse

Jackson stepped big time in our game against Spanish Fork when we were short handed. He won some key faceoffs and helped us get back into the game in the second half.

Taira Anderson

girls lacrosse

Taira scored 3 goals and added 1 assist last week in a 9-7 loss to Bountiful and an 8-6 win over Spanish Fork. Taira provides critical leadership and is versatile as we often move her back on defense in the 4th quarter to solidify and galvanize the defense in crunch time. She has been crucial this entire year including the off-season, pre-season, and in-season leading work outs, attending every opportunity, and providing vocal and inspirational leadership. She is an invaluable member of our team, the consummate teammate and ideal captain.

Navy Hubbs

golf

Freshman Navy Hubbs fired a 77 at The Oaks at Spanish Fork to finish 2nd in our region match this week and also to help the team place second in the match.

April 8-13

Jack Shepherd

soccer

Jack is one of the most dynamic midfielders in our program.  His touch on the ball is matched only by his tireless defensive work rate.  What Jack does for us doesn't always show up on the stat sheet.  But his creativity and his ability to shut down opponents has a huge impact on games. A good example is the three assists he had last week in the final 10 minutes of a game, allowing us to easily pull away from our opponent. Jack is the definition of an impact player.  Jack is also a great teammate.

Camryn Guest

softball

Camryn this last week in our 7 games went batted 18 out of 24 for a .750 batting average with 9 RBI's ans scored 19 times.
