The following TV Broadcasting students were finalists (top 5) at the Utah High School Broadcast Awards last week. Congratulations #shhsheros! 

I call this the weekly newsletter; however, sometimes work and life happen to the extent that this becomes the bi- or even tri-weekly newsletter. We've had a lot of great things happen at our school since we sent out our last newsletter, so rather than bore you with my quote and thought this week, we'll get right to the good stuff!

 Skyhawk Highlights:

The State Wrestling Tournament ended last night. Here are the students who placed:

Jaxon Van Tassell - 170 lbs, Junior, State Finalist and three years in a row as a State Finalist!
Kyle Larsen -160 lbs, Junior, 3rd Place
Noah Patterson - 126 lbs, Junior, 4th place
Chyler Zeeman - 113 lbs, Freshman, 6th place
Merrell Morley - 138 lbs, Freshman, 6th place

CTE provides students with technical training to prepare for a successful career. The structured training each student receives gives him or her to the tools needed to be successful in a job after high school, and further their postsecondary education, whether technical school, tow--or four--year college. Each student is encouraged to explore various CTE Areas of Study and to develop the essential skills to enter today's competitive job market with confidence.
