Congratulations to our Athletes of the week!
Our athletes of the week are:
Jack Shepherd-soccer
Jack is one of the most dynamic midfielders in our program. His touch on the ball is matched only by his tireless defensive work rate. What Jack does for us doesn't always show up on the stat sheet. But his creativity and his ability to shut down opponents has a huge impact on games. A good example is the three assists he had last week in the final 10 minutes of a game, allowing us to easily pull away from our opponent. Jack is the definition of an impact player. Jack is also a great teammate.
Camryn Guest-softball
This last week in our 7 games Camryn batted 18 out of 24 for a .750 batting average with 9 RBI's and scored 19 times.

Josh Butler is such an amazing student! He always comes to class on time and ready to learn. He has a great attitude and always does his very best work. He works well with his classmates and always contributes and participates in class. Josh is such a joy to have in class.-Mr Mower

The SHHS Performer of the Week for April 15-19 is Linden Valgardson, representing Ballroom Dance.
Linden was nominated by Coach Lexie Gordon, who said,
Linden is a 2nd year Junior and also serves as a leader on the captains panel. She has really stepped into her role as a leader this year by helping other students with choreography and cleaning. She has the most contagious smile and the greatest laugh. She has had a lot of success in syllabus and open as well as mastering our formation routines. She has even gotten through dances with a broken wrist and figured out how to dance with the injury despite the challenge! We love her and love having her on the team!

My student of the week is Emma Lee. Emma is great to have in class! She always comes prepared and ready to learn. I admire the way she treats all of her classmates, and is always ready to share her thoughts and help others. Emma is fantastic!
