Submitted by angela.nederhand on

Salem Hills High School DECA students experienced Comic Con from a marketing perspective by receiving an invite to attend a closed press conference on Friday.  Students were able to participate in a celebrity press panel to observe how reporters ask questions first hand They also learned about the economic impact Comic Con has had on Salt Lake City’s transportation and tourism industry in the last three years. Attending the press conference was Utah’s Lt. Governor, Spencer Cox.  He emphasized the importance of leadership amongst the younger generation by saying, “The only way to change the world is by accepting people for who they are.”
